Egide Niyongabo

Egide Niyongabo holds a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from the International Leadership University Burundi (ILU Burundi). Since 2012, Mr. Niyongabo has served as a Transforming Leadership & Governance Seminar (TLG Seminar) facilitator.

In this capacity, he has facilitated several TLG Seminars attended by many senior government officials and leaders from various institutions and sectors, including the public and private sectors, civil society organizations, faith-based organizations, churches, university youth, academics, etc.

In April 2015, Mr. Niyongabo was part of the team that revised the TLG Seminar modules in Accra, Ghana. Apart from being an ILF facilitator, Mr. Niyongabo also serves as the Chairperson of the ILU Burundi Governing Council. Professionally, since 2008, Mr. Niyongabo has been a conference interpreter and, therefore, has broad professional and collaborative experience at various levels of
leadership and in many spheres of society. In addition, since 2017, Mr. Niyongabo has been a certified intercultural trainer for Dwellworks, LLC, an international consulting firm based in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Passionate about contributing to personal and societal transformation in his country and beyond, Mr. Niyongabo has authored two books entitled, Transformation in Deed: Hope for a Brighter Future and The Father Knows. Mr. Niyongabo is married to Anita, and together, they are blessed with five children, one girl and four boys.
