The Foundation's History
The International Leadership Foundation (ILF) holds the view that nations around the world can be positively transformed by discovering, developing and empowering leaders of integrity.
ILF has its roots in the context of Africa, where most leaders in government, business and the Church have agreed that improved leadership is an essential part of economic, political and social development. Since 1990 these leaders have worked to strike a balance between theoretical and practical models of leadership. Today, a leadership movement is beginning to help leaders develop new paradigms and resources based on their particular context.
ILF's work in Africa encourages societal transformation through a leadership training approach that is holistic in nature. This leadership training model includes a leader's personal, relational and professional life and utilizes a framework based on biblical, professional and contemporary principles. ILF is currently in the early stages of introducing this leadership development approach beyond Africa, beginning with Asia and Europe.
In 2004, Dr. Delanyo Adadevoh established the International Leadership Foundation (ILF) in direct response to the needs for developing leaders of integrity in Africa and the world. ILF is registered as a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.
