National Prayer Breakfasts
The National Prayer Breakfast (NPB) is an annual event organized by selected national Christian leaders who are members of the National Prayer Breakfast Committee. The purpose of the National Prayer Breakfast is to acknowledge the sovereign God as the ultimate ruler of all nations. The NPB offers a unique opportunity for the leaders of nations to join hearts in seeking God’s forgiveness for the shortcomings of their people. It is also a time for seeking the blessings of God on the nation. The NPB is part of a continental initiative to have at least 30 African countries holding annual prayer breakfasts.
